Fitness26: The Perfect Leg Exercises
If you’re dreaming about wearing shorts and summer skirts when summer arrives, but you are not fully satisfied with the appearance of your legs, I welcome you to try some very simple exercises that that are going to help you get those sexy legs. Remember summer legs are made in winter…
*5 light exercises for perfect legs, they can be done at home or at the gym:
EXERCISE #1: Plie Squat
Stand straight with your feet very wide apart, turn your toes outward and put your hands on the hips. Bend your knees until your thighs are parallel to the ground. Return to start position and repeat.
EXERCISE #2: Calf Raises
Stand straight with your feet stuck and your toes outward, forward or inwards (do a couple of reps of each stance). Hold onto a chair or against a wall for support, then lift yourself up gently on your toes and stay in this position for a few seconds. Return to start position and repeat.
EXERCISE #3: Abductor Leg Pulses
Lay on your side with the bottom leg straight. With the other leg place it in front of you with your foot flat. Slowly raise your straight leg of the ground & back down, small continuous movement so make sure stay controlled.
EXERCISE #4: Side Plank Leg Lifts
On the floor lying on your side, plank up on your elbow and keep your hips lifted. Tighten your abs and lift your top leg without bending the knee and hold it up for a few seconds then back down gently. Repeat the movement 15 times for each leg.
EXERCISE #5: Lunge Pulse
Step your left leg forward and bend your knees to lower your body into a lunge until both knees are bent 90 degrees. Slowly pulse up and down, then push through your left heel to return to standing. Repeat with the right leg.
